Marketing to businesses
We sometimes contact limited companies and LLPs that we think may benefit from our services. We take the company's name, number, registered office and directors' names from the public register at Companies House. If a business publishes a contact email on its own website or social media page, we may use it. We do this under our legitimate interest in promoting our services to local businesses. We don't email sole traders or partnerships unless they have asked us to, and we never buy contact lists. Every message tells you who we are and how to opt out. If you ask us not to contact you, we stop straight away and keep only enough detail to make sure we don't contact you again. If we don't hear back, we delete your details within 12 months.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal data, please contact us first using the details on this page. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and respond in full as soon as we can. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. Our ICO registration number is ZA502346.
