Mike's story
Jackson Lee Accountants is run by Mike Jackson FCCA. Mike was born and raised in Bury and has spent more than 30 years in accountancy.
His career includes time with top-ten accountancy firms, where he saw how larger practices work. He now runs his own practice in his home town, with a simpler approach.
When you first get in touch, you'll meet Mike or one of our team leaders for a free consultation. Once you're on board, your own team leader looks after you day to day: they answer your questions, keep your work on track and get to know your business. Mike supports the team leaders in the background, so you get quick answers from someone who knows you, backed by more than 30 years of experience. That means one regular point of contact who knows your history.
How we work
We keep things clear and predictable. Every client pays a fixed monthly fee by Direct Debit, agreed up front. Your final fee is confirmed in an engagement letter after a short look at your records.
Our prices are published online, so you can see what you'll pay before you speak to us.
We are Xero certified and work digitally, all year round, not just at deadline time. Working in Xero means less paper, up-to-date figures and records you can see whenever you need them. If you're not on Xero yet, we can set it up for you.
Our office is at 10 St Mary's Place, Bury BL9 0DZ, open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. You're welcome to meet us there, but many clients prefer a phone call or a Teams meeting. Whatever suits you is fine with us.

ACCA-registered practice: Mike's ACCA membership number is 0975264.
Anti-money-laundering supervision: our supervisor is ACCA.
Companies House ACSP: we are an Authorised Corporate Service Provider, so we can verify the identity of company directors and people with significant control.
Xero certified: we know the software inside out.
